In some cases, custom footwear or orthotics may be recommended to improve comfort, support walking, or reduce pressure areas. Even standard footwear advice can make a noticeable difference when it’s tailored to the individual.

You don’t need to be with a registered provider in every case.
If you’re self-managed or plan-managed, you can usually choose who you see. That gives you flexibility in accessing the care that suits you best.
